Stroll up the Green Road, past Margaret's Castle toward the playing fields.
This was all once a wooded area, but was converted to housing and playing fields some years ago.
Adrglass Gaelic Football team used to play here before building their own club at Ardtole.
Now the fields are used by local children, with a state of the art playground.
The Ardglass Soccer club play here too.
The local community organisations are supporting the development of new fitness equipment, upgrading of the park and the creation of a 3-G pitch for use by all local clubs on this site.
On the way up Green Road you might be able to catch a glimpse of The Eye of Ardglass which is located on private property – a folly located in the garden of present day fish merchant Congall Milligan. The Eye of Ardglass was a built by an adoring husband as a quiet retreat for his ailing wife.
